So, I definitely was given the Versitile Blogger award a couple weeks ago, but then I received it again this past week from a few awesome ladies, so I wanted to say thank you and pass it along again.
But, first I'm going to change things up a little. Alana at Mrs. Alana's Miscellany did a revamp of this award, so I am now proud to announce the, Awesome Blog Award.
1) Thank the person who gave it to you.
2) Share a few things about yourself.
3) Pass it along to some awesome blogs, and let them know.
First things first... I was so overwhelmed when four awesome bloggers that I adore, nominated me. How sweet is that? I couldn't believe it. So, a special thanks to...
Taylor over at Our Military Home or aka OMH with the in crowd. She is a Navy wife and as smart as they come. Her blog has the cutest DIY ideas. I love all her cute ideas for fall. This lady does it all!
Ashley from Sweet Tea in Sicily! I actually just came across her blog a couple weeks ago but I'm hooked. She is another Navy wife (feeling the Navy love) who recently got married and packed up her bags for Italy! And, I thought I traveled far to Hawaii!
AM and her blog A Creed and a Psalm. She is on a TTC journey with her Air Force hubby. She always has such great things to say, I'm often taking a deeper look at myself after reading her posts. Great stuff.
And, Dragonfly from the dynamic duo, A Bee and a Dragonfly. An awesome Air Force wife (feeling AF love too!) and newlywed who is figuring out married life and military life at the same time. So can relate to that!
So, go check out all those awesome ladies!
Now, a few things about me...
- I was scared of the dark when I was little. Nightlight and all. That active imagination of mine had really scary things happening in the dark. But, now, I have a hard time sleeping if there is the smallest bit of light in a room.
- I never grew out of my horse phase when I was little. I'm still totally obsessed with horses. Once we are done with the military, and have our own house, I definitely want a little land so we can have horses.
- I'm revamping my husband's wardrobe while he's deployed. And wow, that man is going to be lookin' good when he gets home. Okay, he always looks good, but he will be a little more stylish and not look like he is about to go to the gym at all times. Seriously, that man lives in gym shorts and t-shirts.
- Turquoise is my favorite color. Which you can't at all tell by my pink, on yellow, on pink, on grey, on pink blog.
- My be all, end all goal in life is to be a housewife, have children, and be a stay at home mom. I want to have a happy family and take care of them. Growing up I remember giving my mom (who was a sahm) a hard time about "doing nothing" (I was a horrible child and have since apologized many times) but now, being a wife and mom is what I want more than anything else. Luckily, I have a husband who wants that for our future too.
Now, to pass this onto some awesome bloggers...
Maghew "Meghan" McAgen at The Life of a Nerdy Army Wife
Okay, so that isn't really her name, but Starbucks cannot spell Meghan correctly! Mahgew and McAgen are some of the funnier spellings they have come up with.
Carissa from Domiciliary Artillery
Super sweet Army wife with an adorable toddler and a deployed husband. She is a supermom!
Kiwi from Mrs. Kiwi Misses Her Marine
A newlywed USMC wife, finishing college, becoming a teacher, living away from her husband, while he is about to deploy. How that girl does it, I don't know!
